TESTING FOR THE FCC GENEREAL RADIO OPERATOR LICENSE (GROL)

A General Radio Operator License is required to maintain and repair FCC licesned radiotelephone equipment in aviation, maritime and international fixed public radio services.

To qualify, you must be a legal resident of (or eligible for employment in) the United States, be able to receive and transmit spoken messages in English and pass the FCC Element 1 and Element 3 written examinations.
